There are some restrictions on sharing the printer in a network environment.If your computers don't seem to share the printer properly, confirm the following. In order not to display the message on the print server, open 'Server Properties' from the 'File' menu of the 'Printers and Faxes' window (Windows XP) or the 'Printers' windows (Windows 2000), set 'Notify when remote documents are printed' off on the 'Advanced' tab, then restart your computer. If an error occurs when you print from the client, an error message will be displayed on the client and the print server .
In case an error occurred when a document is printed by the client system to a shared printer, the error message of Canon IJ Status Monitor will be displayed on the client system and the print server system. For regular printing, Canon IJ Status Monitor will be displayed only on the client system.
