Setting up the Scanner to Scan Film Always put the protective sheet back in place when you are not scanning films. This will help to protect the light source under the document cover.

Setting up the Scanner to Scan Film When you have finished scanning, fit the holes at the bottom end of the protective sheet over the tabs at the bottom of the document cover and slide the protective sheet down. Repeat the procedure for the top end. This will help to protect the light source under the document cover.
