Cleaning with the Cleaning Cards - CR190

If a black stripe appears on the back-side of scanned images or if dirt appears on the paper documents, we recommend cleaning the scanner using the cleaning card .

The scanner is not recognized when connected by USB.

If you have verified that the cable is the one that came with the scanner and is functioning properly, it is possible that the Windows assigned USB ID has become corrupted and needs to be reset. To do this, please download (and run) the "Restoration Tool for Windows Registry" (located under the "Utilities" tab of "Drivers & Downloads" on the scanner product page).The function of this tool is to reassign the USB ID's to the correct scanners.
