How to Start Cableless Setup on the Printer - MG6620

This article explains how to place the PIXMA MG6620 into Cableless setup mode. This wil prepare the printer to receive the information it needs to connect to a wireless network.

1.Press the HOME button.

2. Select Wireless LAN setup:

3. Tap To other connection methods if it is displayed on the LCD. Then tap Other setup.

4. Tap Cableless setup.

5. Tap OK.

When the printer has been placed into Cableless setup mode, it is ready to receive network information from a computer or mobile device. Select your computer or mobile device below.

   If your Mac has macOS 10.12 or later, you cannot use the Cableless setup method to connect the printer to your network. More information can be found here.
