Learn how to place the PIXMA TS5020 into Easy wireless connect mode.

Solution

Wireless Connection

Prior to starting setup on the Computer, Smartphone or tablet device, start the Easy wireless connect on the printer.  Then complete the setup on the computer or device. 
See the procedure below to start the Easy Wireless connect.

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.

    If the power is on, the POWER lamp (A) will be lit.

    If the printer is performing cleaning, print head alignment, or other processes

    Wait for the process to finish, before starting setup.

  2. Press the HOME button (B) on the printer.

    If an error screen is displayed, press the OK button, then press the HOME button.

  3. Use the Up Down Left Right buttons (C) to select Network status (D).

  4. Press the OK button.

  5. Select LAN settings and press the OK button.

  6. Select Wireless LAN and press the OK button.

  7. Select Wireless LAN setup and press the OK button.

  8. Select Easy wireless connect and press the OK button.

  9. Select Yes and press the OK button.

    Easy wireless connect screen: Settings will be made on a computer or smartphone, etc.
  10. When the printer preparation is complete, the screen below appears.

    Easy wireless connect screen: Follow the instructions on the computer or smartphone, etc. to perform the operation.

The printer is ready to receive the information it needs to connect to a wireless network. Select the computer or device you have for instructions on connecting the printer to your wireless network.

 If you have macOS 10.15 or later, you'll need to use an alternate method to connect the printer to your network.
