Solution

Your printer can be connected to a wireless network via the Easy wireless connect method. This prepares the printer to receive the information it needs to connect to your wireless network. Follow these instructions to place your printer in the Easy wireless connect mode.

 After placing the printer in Easy wireless connect mode, you will need to use a computer or mobile device to send the network information to the printer.

  1. With the printer powered on and on the HOME screen, use the up up or down  down arrows to select LAN settings. Then, press the OK button.

  2. Wi-Fi will be selected. Press the OK button.

  4. Use the up  up or down  down arrows to select Wi-Fi setup, then press the OK button.

  5. Easy wireless connect will be selected. Press the OK button.

  6. Press the OK button to continue.

    Connect to a computer or smartphone. Please confirm.

  7. After a few moments, the printer will be ready to receive the information for your wireless network.

    Follow the instructions on your computer or smartphone



When the message in step 7 is displayed on the printer's screen, you will need to use a computer or mobile device to send the network information to the printer.
